ABOUT US We understand
that our faith is in God, through Christ, and based on the revelation of
Scripture rather than on the contradicting and confusing doctrines and
revered creeds of traditional, 'orthodox' Christianity. As such, we operate as an independent,
non-denominational body of believers.
Fellowship with like-minded individuals and groups and the sharing of
scriptural understanding are most welcome and are cherished as a beginning of
an unending relationship in Christ. We acknowledge the dedication and effort of the
many people whom God has worked through, who have so painstakingly
endeavoured to rightly divide the word of truth, thereby establishing the
proper understanding of God's revelation.
It is our desire to share in the project of bringing these truths of
Scripture to others, realising that God will open the minds of those He is
calling now so that they can relate to these verities.
In keeping with this objective, this website was
launched. Our format includes
selected articles of interest from a number of sources, as well as articles
developed from notes made during the course of our many Bible Sessions. On particular points of Scripture,
comparisons and contrasts are made to extant 'Christian' doctrines to provide
a context to our biblical environment. We would appreciate your fellowship in the body
of Christ in prayer to God that to us, too, expression may be granted to make
known the secret of the evangel correctly and with boldness.
Our fellowship As a
result of our various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and our individual
exposures to Scripture, our discussions are often thought-provoking and
question-driven, as together we undertake the journey to unlearn the
influences of mere tradition or custom, and walk down a path that is guided
by one source only - Scripture. As serious as our study sessions are, we do have our lighter moments as we share humorous personal anecdotes and everyday idiosyncrasies, experiencing great enjoyment and, often, great laughs in the process. God, our Father, has indeed blessed our group with a sense of humour and, more importantly, a desire to continue growing together in Him. And for all of this and more, we thank and praise Him. |
