6 - Conclusion
Conclusion
God has revealed to us, of
the ecclesia which is the body of Christ, intimate secrets concerning His
intentions and goals, the very purpose for creation, and the glorious Consummation
of His well-laid plans. No others outside of this ecclesia have
been drawn into such a wholesome relationship. Enoch walked with God; Abraham
was the friend of God; David was a man after God's Own heart. In a superlatively
more intimate relationship, however, Christ is God's Beloved Son
and God's Complement. And we? We are the complement of the Christ,
that part which makes Him complete - that part without which Christ
will be incomplete!
In Christ at His creation,
long, long before any other part of creation had come into existence
through Him, latent in Him until we came into being according to
God's pre-determination, this is the exclusive privilege we
have from God in grace! Destined to be with Christ as He heads up
the heavens and the earth, we are to savour every hard-earned experience
to fit us for the work that now lies ahead of us. We begin to see things
with
a universal perspective and with an eonian time-frame! We are
given to see the truth from out of the elusive and ephemeral conceptualisations
and philosophies that abound around us. As the veils of ignorance and error
are drawn aside we, more and more, recognise, acknowledge, and appreciate
God as GOD!
What can we say to all of
this? Again and again we find we cannot help but join Paul in wonder and
praise of our God and Father in his doxology:
O,
the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God!
How
inscrutable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!
For,
who knew the mind of the Lord? or, who became His adviser?
or,
who gives to Him first, and it will be repaid him?
seeing
that out of Him and through Him and for Him is all:
to
Him be the glory for the eons! Amen!
(Rom.11:33-36)
